Hi all. I have recently purchased a K series midget with the conversion completed by the previous owner. I was having problems with the battery which turned out to be a knackered alternator. Having removed the alternator it is not an MG F alternator as I expected and an MGF alternator will not fit in the existing location. I have tried to identify the existing alternator but with no luck. I have attached a few photos-does anyone know who what make/model this might be? If not any suggestions for similar would be great. Thanks.
Yes, problem solved with the help of Tim at Brise (www.brise.co.uk) who knew the answer straight away. The alternator turned out to be a Denso alternator, albeit a fake one which had packed up.

I have an Innocenti 1100 (built on an MG uni-body). The engine and trans along with most parts are long gone (largely parted out). I've decided to do a K series conversion along with upgrading a lot of the suspension, braking etc. Just wanted to say thanks to those who put together and collaborated the info on the K Series conversion.
I'm currently searching for a decent 1800 VVC for the conversion. Let me know if you have one. Needs to ship to the US. I included a few photos - then and now - Floor is in and finishing up most of the raw work. Hope to soon move on to bodywork, mechanical, and electrical work. Thanks!
